Night is a true story about a boy who survived concentration camps. He goes through a lot, no eating, the cold weather, losing his family, and more. It shows you how it was during the Holocaust for the Jews. It was very rough and you will understand it more with all the descriptions in this book. It was pretty good, very graphic though. It was also interesting to read and it was short which is always a great thing.

The Hunger Games was a good book and good movie. The Capitol has 2 tributes from each of the 13 districts fight to the death. The crazy part is that it's all televised for the public to watch every year. Katniss being a tribute, fights to survive the battle. It's a must read for sure. It's entertaining from the beginning to the end. There are sequels to this book as well. I think you should watch the movie first so it won't disappoint you. This is a really great book, it's written very well.

Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children was a different book. Children had a specific powers. These creatures were after these kids and they had to find a way to run away from them and survive. It's a great story but I felt it took forever to get going. It was boring for the first 100 pages but once you get passed that, you will find it hard to put the book down. The ending leads to a sequel and it's probably good also. It's a nice twist on reality.

The book, The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian is about a boy trying to fit in a word that doesn't accept him. He is not accepted in his own reservation so he starts to go to a different school. He goes through hard times and obstacles. This book is very good, it has a lot of humor even though the it's a true story and it's not really uplifting. It will keep you engaged throughout the whole story and I enjoyed. I wish the ending wrapped things up a little better but other than that, it's a must read book.
